BCL MINE TO BE SOLD FOR 300 MILLION USD-BOTSWANA

BOTSWANA Minister of Mineral Resources Green Technology and Energy Security Sadique Kebonang says the BCL mine will be sold to a company associated with a royal family in Dubai for 300 million USD.

Speaking on Dumafm this Kebonang said the company will conduct a due diligence before the 
purchase but have since confirmed interest adding that the company believes the mine can be run at a smaller scale.

He also said the company is not only interested in BCL but has intentions of investing in other developments in Botswana.
