Ali Saleh Kiba know as Alikiba a bongoflava artist from Tanzania won MTV Europe Music Award 2016 as the Best African Act, the award was given to Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun better known by his stage name Wizkid, a Nigerian recording artist, songwriter and performer by mistake, Four days later the MTV EMA announced that the winner for Best African Act is Alikiba and Wizkid won Best Worldwide Act.
