Tanzania drops in the latest FIFA ranking

Poor performance of Taifa Stars in CHAN tournaments last month has taken Tanzania six steps down in latest FIFA ranking released Thursday.

Hence, Tanzania is ranked 120th by FIFA, the world’s soccer governing body.

Ethiopia and Oman have also ranked in the same position.

Uganda is still highest placed country in East Africa at 73rd position followed by Kenya at 82nd, Rwanda 119th while Burundi dropped 11 spots to 132nd position.

However, Brazil toppled Germany to return to the top position of Fifa ranking. Germany is ranked 2nd followed by Argentina.
